The fine print
The agreement between you and Aeveth™. Please read it — using the Service means you accept it.
Effective date: June 19, 2026. Last updated: June 19, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Aeveth™ ("Aeveth," "we," "us," or "our") — the Aeveth™ service and its owner, an individual based in Tennessee, United States — governing your access to and use of the Aeveth™ website and service (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended only for adults and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; in particular, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect it from children under 13, and we will delete any such information we discover. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
Aeveth™ is an artificial-intelligence Game Master, powered by Anthropic's Claude models. When you play, you are interacting with AI, not a human. The Service generates fictional narrative, dice outcomes, characters, and rules adjudication automatically. AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected, and it is fiction for entertainment only. Factual assertions in output should not be relied upon without independently checking their accuracy, as they may be false, incomplete, or misleading. Do not treat output as professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice.
The Service is offered as a private beta. It is provided on an "as available" basis, may change, break, or be unavailable, and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Features, limits, and pricing may change. We may add, remove, or reset content and accounts during the beta.
Access is by invitation and is granted through a third-party sign-in (Cloudflare Access). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in and for all activity under your account. Do not share access or attempt to access another user's account or data. We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
Because the Service is built on Anthropic's Claude, your use must also comply with Anthropic's Usage Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In addition, you agree not to:
You are solely responsible for the inputs you provide and the way you direct the Service, including any content-boundary settings you choose. Mature content settings are opt-in and intended for consenting adults.
You retain ownership of the original campaign inputs and choices you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service for you (including sending it to our AI provider to generate responses). You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to provide it. Ownership of AI-generated output, to the extent it is owned at all, is addressed by your agreement with the AI provider and by applicable law; we make no ownership claim to the narrative output of your individual sessions, but the Aeveth™ engine, software, prompts, original world material, art, audio, and brand remain ours (Section 7).
The Service — including its software, the Aeveth™ GM engine, engine rules, prompts, original prose and world content, artwork, audio, and brand assets — is the proprietary property of Aeveth™ and its owner and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "Aeveth" and the Aeveth™ logo are trademarks of their owner. Except for the rights expressly granted to use the Service, no license to our intellectual property is granted.
The tabletop rules content under the Service's system directories is third-party Open RPG Content made available by Paizo Inc. under the ORC License; it is not ours and remains subject to the ORC License. The required attribution is provided in the Service's NOTICE file. Aeveth™ is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Paizo Inc. or Anthropic, PBC. "Claude" and "Anthropic" are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC, used here only to describe the technology that powers the Service.
The Service depends on third-party providers (including Anthropic, Cloudflare, and Web3Forms). Your use may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services. See our Privacy Policy for how these providers process information.
If you choose to use your own Anthropic API key, you are responsible for your own account with that provider, for complying with its terms, and for any usage costs you incur. We are not responsible for charges, limits, or actions taken by your provider on your account.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service or its output. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aeveth™ and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (US$50).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aeveth™ and its owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6–7 and 10–15) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify users. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Tennessee for any dispute that is not otherwise subject to an alternative resolution agreed in writing.
